Alligator Point, FL, is located about 50 miles south of Tallahassee. It is the Red Headed Step Child of Franklin County, the second largest tax base of the county, and receives little to no services from the county. This is primarily due to the very small number of registered voters with little (sic)
representation on the County Commission.
If you haven't been to Iraq, then please visit Alligator Point for scenery similar to that war torn country. Concrete rubble abounds looking like a recent airstrike. The road, imaginary, will rattle your teeth loose as you drive along at the posted speed limit of 15 MPH.
You have now entered a Time Warp known as Alligator Point. The only thing missing is Rod Serling, creator of The Twilight Zone. I shall endeavor to be here in his stead to point out the obvious and not quite so obvious. So, sit back and enjoy as nothing happens here at Alligator Point as it should.
